The Heritage Inn Suites Houston/Sugar Land receives mixed reviews, with guests praising its value, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, concerns regarding outdated facilities, temperature control issues, and occasional service lapses are frequently noted. Recent reviews indicate improvements in certain areas, particularly cleanliness and breakfast quality.
My experience was extremely pleasant. This is an older hotel so the rooms were a little dated with worn tattered headboards. But they were clean the front desk was very helpful and attentive. My only complaint is the lobby and hallways were VERY HOT I mean downright SWELTERING. Pool was nice and clean.
I had an appointment in the downtown medical area so it was easy to get to from this location. I was a little disappointed because the AC was not working in hallways or down in the breakfast area, so it was kind of uncomfortable. The rooms were very nice and cold. I did ask for a complementary toothbrush and an extra blanket, but it was never brought to me. Overall, my stay was good.
I booked here for king suite room for three days, I feel so good. Room is very clean and the king suite has a sofa bed is also very comfortable. It is convenient for people who need to separate their beds, or it is very necessary when there are many people. The price is also very reasonable. Thank the hotel staff for their warm service. I also had a great breakfast!
An unexpected find for this budget traveler. The drive up gave the impression of an office building. The hosts were professionally dressed. The hotel lobby was attractive and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, including hot items as well as the standard fare of cereal, yogurt, fruit. Although the couch in the room was outdated and there were stains on the carpet in the hallway, I prefer the price point of this establishment compared to others in the neighborhood. This establishment was comfortable enough for a multi-night stay. Highly recommend.
The service was great. It is an older hotel but it was very clean, beds comfy and the breakfast was super yummy! They also had popcorn snack in the afternoons which was a special treat for my kiddo! It was a simple gesture that was welcoming and appreciated!
I was pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness of the entire hotel. It was wonderful. My lungs are reactive so scents musty things really hurt me. The sheets and towels were wonderful. No scent and very clean!
Hot tub was hot with jets working (I did call to confirm this would be so before booking) free delicious popcorn from 3-7 (we didn't see it out so we asked and they popped it fresh for us) Wish there was more water pressure in the shower, but I honestly feel that way at every hotel I've ever stayed at so I can't hold that against them. Breakfast was good. Great value for the price paid, would definitely stay again.
I have to travel to the Houston/Sugar Land frequently for work. I've stayed at several Wyndham properties in the area but this is by far the best and now I stay here exclusively. Lois behind the desk is the best and Im always happy to see her smile welcoming me when I check in. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the price is a great value. They have a convience pantry, a solid breakfast and a nice pool area. There's lots of stores and restaurants close by and access is easy and right off the freeway. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.
This hotel is very shady on how it manages its business. I booked through Priceline and it booked the wrong date for me cause I was coming down from Dallas the week after they booked me. I called them and Priceline telling them to just push my reservation to another day. They said they couldn’t and wouldn’t give me refund. Then told Priceline that I used the room when I wasn’t even in the city. If that’s how they manage their business I can only imagine how it is to stay there. Be careful booking here cause they don’t care about their customers.
Was used to visiting the area and staying at Drury Inn before it changed to this crap. Drove 4 hours and Arrived after 3:00 a.m. on 12-27-25 and wanted to check out the morning of 12-29-25. No one was at the desk and after about 10 minutes of waiting, I called the front desk and the attendee finally came. She was kind and got me checked in. The room I was assigned, 402, had a large, unattractive area with pleather missing from the headboard, the bathroom sink didn’t drain well, the toilet ran, and not only that, the bowl part of it was stained! This was a high indicator that the housekeeping is not thoroughly cleaning the rooms. My towels were not refilled the following day. This new company has done away with the kick back, which was a guest favorite, Drury points don’t transfer, they removed the vending machines then brought them back, and kept the rooms the same ? They really need to remodel the rooms to keep up with the area, but no wonder they’re offering cheap deals. Not to mention, the breakfast was subpar. Fake eggs, bland sausage both mornings, the tables were not clean, and their guests, mainly foreigners, were rude. I just didn’t like it and will not go back. I opted not to take photos of that nasty toilet because it literally grossed me out. Very disappointed and wish I’d known Drury was bought out, but I had to book a hotel last minute and it was my go-to spot until I arrived. ?
